YO LAB’s multi-specialty bioskills facility provides a cost-effective solution for developing and perfecting surgical skills and conducting medical device development, testing and evaluation. With advanced technology, practitioners across the city or globe can watch and interact via live video stream. YO LAB offers doctors, students and medical professionals a convenient and state-of-the-art learning environment. We provide a facility where doctors and surgeons can practice with new devices, implants and techniques using modern equipment on high-quality, fresh-frozen human cadaveric tissue.
Whether you are a surgeon looking for space to perfect technique, a sales representative looking to demonstrate intricacies of the latest device or an attending looking for space to host teaching and collaboration experiences for residents, YO LAB offers space for productivity and inspiration. Located in northeast Ohio, halfway between Cleveland and Pittsburgh, YO LAB is 20-minutes outside Youngstown with overnight accommodations just a few minutes away and locker rooms/private showers conveniently located on-site.
Our goal and mission is to inspire ongoing medical training, advance knowledge, and strengthen our local medical communities. We work with medical industry professionals to enrich surgical training experiences and to offer real life exposure to surgical residents, fellows, and established physicians in ongoing education and research. This consists of hands-on, practical experience using the newest and advanced equipment, instrumentation, and surgical techniques. We hope our combined efforts will lead to better patient outcomes, longer and healthier lives, and lead to less human pain and suffering.
